The Exhibition

The exhibition embodies the work of Berta Paramo's book, transforming its narrative into an interactive physical space tailored for families and targeted towards teenagers and younger audiences. The exhibition prioritizes interaction, offering guests an intimate experience with a diverse array of robots, allowing them to touch, observe, and comprehend their inner workings firsthand.
Upon entry, guests are introduced to the concept of robots and the motivations behind their creation in a curated first room. Continuing through a corridor similar to a container yard, visitors encounter cutout robots representing various chapters of the book. Along this journey, they are welcomed by the charismatic robot Plato, who offers a playful interaction with fake Japanese dishes.
As guests proceed inside an oversized wooden crate, guests have the opportunity to engage with real robots provided by suppliers such as Honda, the Italian Institute of Technology, and Sony.
Moving to the third area, visitors are treated to a wonderful animation by Igor Imhoff, presenting a cyberpunk rendition of the Macchina del Paradiso, inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's original concept. Adjacent to this projection lies a cinema space featuring a screening of the film "Bicentennial Man."

The Robots

The robots showcased in the exhibition are a mix of characters from Berta's book and newer models. Each one comes with its own fascinating story – from friendly priest robots to helpful food prep automatons, and even cuddly emotional companions or playful mind-stimulating buddies. It's a diverse and eclectic selection that promises a fun and interactive experience for everyone!.
