Creative Process

The design the Regione Puglia Tradefair Stand at Salone del Libro Torino 2025 was conceived as a vibrant, greenhouse-inspired space showcasing the rich literary culture of Puglia. The client's vision emphasized an environment that would feel both open and inviting, filled with indigenous plants and herbs from the region, while also serving as a display for various Puglian editors.
Beginning with the iconic greenhouse form, we researched the flora endemic to Puglia, which laid the foundation for our design concept. Utilizing AI visualizations helped us explore creative possibilities of combining the greenhouse structure with the literary elements. Our sketches focused on both the architectural framework and the graphic identity of the space, ensuring that every aspect harmoniously contributed to the overall experience.
The final design featured a simulated framework structure suspended by trusses above the tables, adorned with large, colorful cutouts of fruits and herbs hanging from above. Measuring just under 300 square meters, the booth included a dedicated area for talks and workshops at the back, organized by the Consiglio Regionale. A "doorway entrance" at the front welcomed visitors, while we kept the sides open to facilitate an unobstructed flow through the internal corridors, enhancing visitor engagement.
